Regular pew-sitting is recommended
You’ve gotta love what faith does for family. This month’s list of Family Facts from the Heritage Foundation is about the positive relationship between Religion and Family. A sample of the findings includes:
- Married couples who both believe that marriage has spiritual significance adjust easier to married life.
- Fathers who attend church are more involved with their infant children.
- Urban unwed mothers who attend church are more likely to marry within a year of giving birth.
Bottom line: Regular pew-sitting for the entire family is recommended by Focus on the Family Action.
