Tea Parties, Families, and the Future
The Tea Party movement is a true American grassroots phenomenon, despite some hysterical (and often hilarious) rantings from the out-of-touch “mainstream” media and lefty politicians who feel threatened by them. But there’s one aspect of the movement that stands out for me: the defense of the next generation and the burden we’ll be leaving them if we’ve tripled the national debt with misguided spending.
We invited Citizenlink readers who attended Saturday’s Tea Party in Washington D.C. to share with us some of their pictures. Enjoy:

A mom and daughter sent the following message with the picture below: “My 12 year old daughter and I attended the tea party. Instead of a bunch of angry people, I found a group of lovely, down to earth folks. They simply use common sense and understand that what Obama is promising can’t be done. They have enough life experience to understand the outcome of the decisions. It was a great afternoon.”

The Tea Party movement reassures me that there are still loads of Americans who believe they hold their freedoms in trust for the next generation, and they will rise up when those freedoms and that sacred trust are threatened. God Bless America!
These are GREAT pictures – it’s nice to see salt-of-the-earth people standing up for our freedoms and for the liberty of future generations.
