Swayze a man of true love in Hollywood
Goodbye, Patrick Swayze. A talented actor and performer who died too young, but who was married to his first and only wife, Lisa Niemi, for more than 30 years.
According to at least one source, Lisa lived out the vow “in sickness and in health.” She is a licensed pilot and flew him to treatments.
We pray God’s comforting presence for Lisa and the Swayze family.
I saw that, too, about his wife being a licensed pilot and flying him north to Stanford for his cancer treatments. I had no idea they’d been married for so long! Just another quiet, shining example of what marriage is supposed to be — lasting.
